Health Minister Nadda reviews NEET UG 2026 counselling preparations with new digital systems, cybersecurity measures, online upgrades, expanded disability assessments, and 24/7 candidate support as officials work for a smoother admission process.

Health Minister Nadda reviewed preparations for the NEET UG 2026 counselling process on July 29, focusing on ensuring a seamless experience for candidates through stronger IT systems, cybersecurity measures, and faster grievance support.

Nadda met officials to assess the arrangements for the upcoming counselling process and ensure that the system remains efficient, secure, and transparent for medical aspirants. The preparations include several changes aimed at simplifying procedures for candidates seeking admission to MBBS, BDS, and nursing programmes.

Under the revised process, candidates selecting the ‘Freeze’ choice will need to complete physical reporting only once, while those opting for ‘Float’ upgrades will be able to complete the process online. The counselling system will also include fully digital procedures for NRI admissions and document verification.
